Job description

The Maintenance Manager will report to a part time Supervisor and one other part time Manager who have worked for the Fort in maintenance for over 15 years. This new Manager will be responsible to recruit one to two other maintenance crew members, and manage their schedules, and duties. The Maintenance crew performs general cleaning and maintenance duties inside and outside the restaurant working together as a team. This employee will perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance. This position requires paying attention to details and alerting the Assistant General Manager if something is not working or needs attention. Will have a set schedule, with days off coordinating with the other two crew members.

He or she must be familiar with grounds-keeping/landscaping tools and equipment, must have the physical stamina to perform the duties of this position (lifting, standing, bending, etc.), and must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule.

WORKING CONDITIONS

* Maintenance and Grounds Manager will work at The Fort with 100% of time focused "maintenance/ upkeep.
* Maintenance Manager will work five days a week. A typical schedule may be 7:00am to 3:00pm with occasional a sixth day. Assistant General Manager will work to accommodate two consecutive days off when possible.
* Maintenance and Grounds Manager should expect to work 40 hours per week.
* Must be able to Communicate schedule changes at least two weeks in advance Will have a set schedule.

* Maintenance Manager must be able to lift and carry 5-70 pounds, carry upstairs and distances of 75 feet or possibly more.
