Job Description & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join our Human Resources team located in Pueblo, Colorado. The HR Coordinator will professionally assist and provide support to our employees while working in a fast-paced environment. This position will interact with all levels of EVRAZ personnel, as well as provide direct administrative support to human resource functions.
* Provide support on HR related inquiries or requests through verbal and written communication forms
* Collaborate with other departments, vendors, and various outside contractors
* Schedule and coordinate meetings, training, and events
* Manage and submit purchase requisitions to maintain office supply levels within budget, and work with the uniform provider and departments to maintain uniform levels for new hires
* Maintain employee records, timekeeping and attendance tracking, vacation schedules, and reports
* Assist with HR system applications and HR related audits
* Assist and provide logistical support with recruitment, onboarding, orientation, benefits, payroll, employee recognition, and basic labor relation processes
* Adhere to all safety guidelines when entering mills
* Other ad-hoc HR duties as assigned
Requirements
* Associates or pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Management, or Business related field or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
* Two-five years of administrative background/secretarial experience with Human Resource related responsibilities preferred
* Demonstrated high level of leadership, interpersonal, time-management and organizational skills in addition to being detail-oriented
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal direction
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask
* Proficient in Microsoft Office with a high level of accuracy
* Knowledgeable of Oracle, KRONOS with exposure to HRIS systems preferred
* Ability to work well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
* Exposure to labor law, Collective Bargaining Agreements, payroll practices, benefits and recruiting preferred
Compensation
* $19.00 - $22.00 hourly
