Position Summary:
The Associate will be responsible for supporting various advisory teams in our Greenwich, CT Office in all aspects of relationship management and service. This includes but is not limited to:
- Correspond with clients via email, DocuSign, phone, and written letters
- Perform account opening and continued maintenance for new or current Wealth Management clients via the DocuPace system
- Have existing knowledge or become well versed in operating and navigating Custodial systems; NetX360, TDAI VEO One, Millennium Trust Company, BOX.com and Envestnet (Custodial trading TAMP)
- Responsible for transferring assets over from contra brokers via ACAT, DTC and wire transfers with continued correspondence with our various Custodians; Pershing LLC, TD Ameritrade Institutional and Millennium Trust Company
- Responsible for entering trades into the preferred Custodial System or Custodial Trading TAMP, Envestnet
- Continued communication with our Custodians as well as outside money managers to ensure that client accounts are set up and functioning correctly
- Assist clients in filling out subscription documents for Hedge Fund and Private Equity investments, also initiating any funding or redemptions from these investments
- Maintain Salesforce based CRM database with pertinent client information
- Analyze prospect portfolios utilizing third party software including but not limited to; Zephyr Style Advisor and Advisory World
- Work with Advisors & Research Solutions on investment research projects &
- proposals for prospects & current clients
- Work with Advisor on inputting data into our Financial Planning software, MoneyGuide Pro
- Assist in the development of client marketing materials and presentation documents
- Work with Advisor to help build performance reports, maintaining the client/Advisor views of the performance reporting website and any other necessary reports using the Firm's Performance Reporting tool, Fieldscope (Black Diamond) and if needed Envestnet
- Work closely with Banking Associates to open and maintenance banking and loan accounts for new or current Wealth Management clients
- Become well versed in operating and navigating the Firm's Core Bank systems, Silverlake/Xperience Jack Henry & nCino via Salesforce
- Liaise with the client's advisors (accountant, attorney, etc.) to obtain information on outside accounts & provide them with any information they need for the client on accounts we manage
- Work on multiple long-term projects to further develop the firm's best practices and assist where needed for any additional support the firm may need
Desired Experience and personal traits:
- A Bachelor's Degree (finance, banking, or related field preferred); with strong computer skills. Experience in wealth management with specific experience in all aspects of operations and customer service is preferred
- 4 + years' experience working in financial services preferred
- Client-oriented focus on results, excellent interpersonal skills, unimpeachable values, and personal behavior. Team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic; problem solving orientation and a sense of personal initiative
- Series 7 licensed or willing to obtain
- Series 66, 63 or 65 licensed or willing to obtain
- Daily use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel to create client reports & presentations
