The diversity of our operations has recently created an opportunity for a Security Officer located at our Enfield, CT Distribution Center. This position will provide physical security and protection of Brooks Brothers' Associates, product, Corporate Office, and Distribution Center to ensure a low theft, crime free, safe, and secure work environment. This position will also conduct audits of both onsite inventory and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy at the SKU level.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and operate company intrusion alarm, access control and CCTV systems and physically open and close the Corporate Office and Distribution Center each day as well as conduct various inspections of security and life safety equipment
  • Monitor employee and visitor entrance at the Distribution Center; greet and sign in visitors and vendors; conduct back/package checks
  • Conduct audits within the Distribution Center of physical locations and outbound cartons to ensure accurate inventory at the SKU level; report all findings to appropriate management personnel
  • Provide support to other departments within the company to meet business objectives, i.e. communication relays between departments, after-hours shipping/receiving, aid with temporary DC employees check in/out, etc.
  • Respond to all types of emergency situations and coordinate communication between departments and agencies to come to a quick resolution of each incident. Various additional duties as assigned in support of LP and other company objectives


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year Security of Loss Prevention experience required
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing
  • High School or equivalent
