Job description

The HR Business Partner is assigned to certain sites / employee groups within the US and supports the company's strategy to drive Value to our Customers, create Opportunities for Employees and add Value for Shareholders. As a strategic partner, this role supports developing organization and talent strategies and leading the change management initiatives needed to enable those strategies. HR Generalists partner with leaders within the assigned groups and report into this role.

This HR Business Partner function is located in Waterbury, CT. In addition to the above, the role will be the HR resource for all employees in the Waterbury, CT location and in the field.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Partner with assigned site leadership teams to align current and future business needs with the HR strategy and ensure alignment to the overall company strategy, culture and values
* Partner in implementing organizational talent planning and talent acquisition strategies
* Ensure the proper roll out of HR processes within the assigned sites and employee groups (systems, performance reviews, engagement, etc.):
* Support performance management of staff and manage employee relations as necessary
* Identify people or capabilities gaps (e.g. performance, talent, compensation) and develop targeted solutions for the assigned employee groups
* Integrate and partner with global and local HR colleagues in the Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation to implement solutions and help scale the business
* Proactively assess team, manager, organizational development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions within the assigned sites employee groups
* Ability to manage HR projects and guide direct reports
* Assist employees as needed

EDUCATION / REQUIRMENTS:

* 7-10 years of HR Business Partner or Manager experience within a manufacturing environment
* Experience with SAP SuccessFactors a plus but not required
* Bachelor's degree required, Advanced degree preferred
* Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
* Possesses well-developed communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
* Present a professional attitude and handle confidential information according to non-disclosure guidelines
* Passion to empower team members through training
* Ability to work in a high paced and multi-task environment
* High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality
* Ability to read, write and follow written or verbal instructions
* Ability to speak, read and write English
* Well-organized and detail oriented
* Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
* Demonstrates capacity to work with Microsoft Office Products and previous experience with HRIS system, ADP experience preferred
