Job description
WC Smith has an exciting opportunity to serve as the Assistant Community Manager for Huntington Village. The Assistant Community Manager will be expected to have significant interaction with residents, including maintaining a high level of customer service, taking ownership of all aspects of property management, and have excellent communication skills.

COVID-19 REGULATIONS:
As a condition of employment, ALL new hires must have at least one dose of an FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccine (e.g., Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, or Moderna vaccine) by their orientation date and receive the second (if applicable) within the guidelines of the CDC.
- Partners with the maintenance team and the Community Manager to ensure all property and resident needs are met.
- Assists The Assistant General Manager with resident related concerns.
- Acts as the main point of contact for all resident issues after move-in and liaises with the maintenance team to address concerns
- Performs property tours with prospects when needed
- Provides assistance with initiatives and events as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in property management and proven success in an assistant or manager role.
- Good financial management skills, with some general accounting knowledge, preferred.
- Must have prior experience working on a HUD property
- Strong customer service orientation
- Exemplary problem-solving, communication and analytic skills.
- Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal and DC Fair Housing laws.
- Previous experience utilizing property management software (Yardi / OneSite preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
