Out Teach is looking for a strategic part-time Human Resources and Operations Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with excellent communication skills and past experience in a human resource role. The role is responsible for assisting the organization's VP, Finance and Business Operations in a range of human resources and operational needs.
In addition, the Human Resources and Operations Assistant will also assist in the recruiting, hiring, and training processes for new hires of this growing organization. Typical tasks include posting job openings, gathering information on new applicants, contacting references, and scheduling interviews. The position will also be tasked with planning and executing the annual staff retreat for the organization.
The position works closely with the Vice President, Finance and Business Operations, as well as the organization's contracted HR consultant, to meet or exceed internal operation goals. The position will be a work from home position but must be located in one of the following areas: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas; Washington, DC
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
- Support the recruiting process including posting positions, conducting phone screens and coordinating the interview process.
- Support performance management process by ensuring performance evaluations are completed in a timely manner and assist in planning for staff professional development needs and individual development plans.
- Streamline Out Teach's diversity, equity and inclusion efforts to pervade all elements of Out Teach's work.
- Provide administrative support to the human resources function and office management support the Washington, DC office including record-keeping, file maintenance, report preparation, and other general office duties.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree, plus prior experience in human resource roles.
- Demonstrated experience in human resource administration and people management.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
