Job Details

We are looking for a great BA to apply their business analysis skills to define and measure the success of our businesses. You will work with the customer to gather information about problems to be solved and drive product features based on customer need and empathy. As part of this position, you will work on many different challenging data modeling & problems across the company to answer business questions, define hypotheses and establish success criteria.

Responsibilities:

• Web administrative console for setup/uploading objects and transactional data
• Creating/setup and running allocation networks
• Reviewing operations and allocation reporting including regulatory reports
• Native mobile app (currently on iOS and eventually on Android)
• APIs for integration with 3rd parties
• Analyzing data from a wide range of datasets and across a breadth of technology platforms to help in model and build data solutions.
• Identify and source required data and measures to ultimately deliver and present insights to broad audiences, ranging from product owners, project managers, engineers to VPs.
• Foresee overlap of technical and business dependencies and communicate with managers to actively plan for those
• Document customer issues in detail - screenshots, videos, JIRA tickets to help dev team support resolutions quickly
• Document and help product team understand new customer specific use cases

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in data analysis preferable working closely with internal/external stakeholders
• 2+ years of experience with agile principles and practices
• Excellent SQL Skills
• Knowledge of Excel is required.
• Programming experience in at least one scripting language and an appetite to learn more as required for the role.
• Familiarity with AWS architecture is a plus (for e.g. DynamoDB, Athena, S3, Elastic, Lambda, etc)
• Ability to work cooperatively as a part of a global professional team that may be distributed across geographies and time zones.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce high quality written documentation.
• Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.
• Oil & Gas industry background would be a plus
