What You'll Get to Do:

  • Work supporting the Navy's Littoral Combat Ship Program. LCS is a fast, agile, mission-focused- platform designed for operation in near-shore environments yet capable of open-ocean operation. It is designed to defeat asymmetric "anti-access" threats such as mines, quiet diesel submarines and fast surface craft.
  • Assist with various Business Financial Management (BFM) Functions, including but not limited to:
    • Prepare Purchase Requisitions and update Allocation Trackers
    • Develop briefs and responses to Congressional or DoD data calls on behalf of the Business Financial Manager
    • Coordinate and schedule mid-year/annual reviews with funded activities
    • Schedule and facilitate Risk Board meetings, update Risk Exchange+
    • Investigate existing practices and develop how-to/Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation on how to perform various tasks, processes, and procedures
    • Attend meetings and capture minutes and actions.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10-15 Years of experience with the U.S. Navy or DoD Acquisition Programs.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Preferred: Experience with Risk Exchange/Risk Exchange+, ERP (SAP Portal), PBIS, NEPS, COBRA.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Prior Business Financial Management Experience.
