World Wide Technology is looking to add a Cloud Business Development Manager to its growing Cloud Practice. The Cloud Business Development Manager role will be responsible for building and driving proactive sales campaigns alongside both our partners and our WWT field sales teams.
The Cloud Business Development Manager will align closely to one or more Cloud Service Provider Partner(s) and work closely to execute sales campaigns focused on specific WWT offerings, verticals, and/or regions.
Role success will be measured thru driving awareness, enablement, growth and profitability of the WWT Cloud Practice. Successful candidates must be comfortable operating in a fast paced, dynamic environment and possess the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Responsibilities Include:
- Align to partner sell with resources in the field (Microsoft ECMs, AWS Partner Sales Managers, Google Cloud Platform Regional Partner Managers)
- Work with ISVs to drive Cosell motions
- Develop deep understanding and manage all execution relating to partner funding and incentive programs
- Deliver/host joint account planning sessions between WWT field sellers and Partner field sellers
- Ensure WWT is top of mind as the preferred partner with Provider field sellers
- Attend/host regional Provider Planning Days
- Drive/maintain consistent, healthy joint selling pipeline and ensure proper reporting
- Continuous collaboration with the Cloud, Global Engineering, Business Development Operations, and Corporate Marketing teams
- Understand all relevant partner KPIs and build/manage business to exceed targets
- Drive and Track completion/action on specific tasks, from all roles (Field Engagement, Account Mapping Sessions, Regional Events)
- Coordinate and host cadence call for all parties critical to campaign success
- Remain current on the latest technologies through participation in both internal and external training.
- Measure business portfolio performance using appropriate tools and techniques, identify and quantify variances and perform corrective actions with transparency to all stakeholders
- Create monthly status reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-4 years of sales or business experience within technology field
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field or equivalent experience
- Strong and Compassionate Leader with Executive Presence and Team skills
- Experience in effectively influencing and leading personnel and the ability to deliver results
- Ability to work independently and aggressively track project timelines
- Ability to communicate well with customers, partners, and co-workers
- Advanced Skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
- Strong writing and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
