DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

Metis Strategy, a management and strategy consulting firm focused on the intersection of business and technology, continues to grow and is looking for highly motivated individuals to join the team. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES OF A DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

As Metis Strategy's first dedicated marketing hire, you will be responsible for maturing the marketing function within our consulting firm. You will be expected to proactively create and execute our firms' marketing strategy including, but not limited to, establishing standards, adopting marketing best practices, and building internal processes that will help our firm grow. You will directly support our co-head of media and our consulting teams across three offices in order to effectively market the Metis Strategy brand and provide a seamless connection between consulting services, our events, our podcast, and other service offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently own, plan, and execute marketing activities, including, but not limited to:

- Technovation Podcast

-Content and intellectual property creation/distribution

-Brand and creative

-Social media

-Digital marketing

-Email marketing/newsletter

  • Provide varying levels of strategic, operational, and logistics support for priority external engagements, conferences, digital conferences, events, etc.
  • Establish and track marketing KPIs
  • Work collaboratively with consulting teams across multiples offices to achieve company goals
  • Provide functional marketing advice and support to key stakeholders and keep all offices informed of ongoing marketing efforts and progress

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree with a specialization in marketing or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience in a professional services environment
  • Must have excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Broad expertise and experience in general and digital marketing best practices and processes
  • Active listening skills, with an ability to understand underlying opportunities and not just diagnose the symptoms. Candidates should be able to contextualize information and draw logical conclusions
  • Entrepreneurial and intellectual grit with a bias for action. Anticipates what needs to be done. Generates, proposes, and iterates unique ideas. Proactive mind-set, self-organized and motivated by measurable outcomes
  • Experience working with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, LinkedIn Elevate preferred
  • Ability to understand and work with intellectual property centered around business & technology problems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • High levels of autonomy and responsibility. Highly proficient in self-organization and collaboration with team members across geographies and time zones. Critical thinking and creativity are expected from all team members, irrespective of seniority and past experiences. Client-centric mindset
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas concisely, timely, tailored appropriately for different audiences (executive to operational) and media (presentations, white papers, emails, etc.). Ability to organize ideas clearly and logically into structured stories supported by data.
