Job description

Were looking for a Digital Strategy Associate who will assist our digital team in the execution and oversight of advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for translating the latest innovations in online advertising into tangible results for our diverse clients.

AdVictory is a leading Republican digital ad technology and service provider located in Washington, D.C. We provide ad placement strategy and specialize in data optimization, targeting, and audience analysis. Since 2015, weve been committed to delivering big wins to right-of-center political campaigns, advocacy organizations, and political action committees.

What youll do:

* Work directly with clients and internal teams to develop cross-channel paid media plans and recommendations
* Launch and optimize ad campaigns across a wide variety of paid social, search, and programmatic ad platforms
* Collaborate with our digital strategy team to identify key performance indicators and optimization requirements
* Work with online publishers to curate custom media plans and inventory recommendations
* Carefully manage media budgets and analyze performance data, reporting campaign metrics to internal and client teams
* Occasionally assist in writing impactful ad copy and landing page content, as well as conceptualizing advertising creative

Requirements

What were looking for:

* Minimum of 2-3 years of digital media experience across social, search, and programmatic buying
* A bachelors degree in politics, government, marketing, or communications fields preferred
* Basic understanding of data analysis and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* A highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, campaign-style environment
* A capability of working extended hours when needed for rapid response moments, especially in the weeks leading up to elections
* An eagerness to learn and self-educate, with the ability to make constructive internal and client-related recommendations along the way
* Options to work remote, DC, Nashville, and Detroit

The following experience would be beneficial, but not required:

* Training or experience with one or more DSP such as AppNexus, The Trade Desk, DV360, or others
* Basic knowledge or experience with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
* Prior experience with political campaigns or advocacy organizations
