VIP is seeking a Federal Talent Acquisition Specialist who is experienced in full lifecycle technical recruiting. This person's primary responsibility will be to recruit new Federal Government Consulting talent to grow the capacity of our company. Success at VIP will be measured by the quality of candidates, relationships developed with community organizations, and improvements to the recruiting process. The ideal candidate will be a passionate ambassador for VIP, care deeply about company growth, be a good judge of character, and have a passion for technology. This candidate must demonstrate expertise in locating highly cleared candidates and attracting them to the company. We are sourcing folks with the highest level of clearance, who are likely not actively looking, and need a hungry hunter to help achieve this goal.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Focused recruiting for Federal programs requiring various levels of Federal Security Clearances
  • Create and edit job descriptions
  • Post jobs and manage the applicant pipeline
  • Work closely with managers to understand their department's culture and job requirements
  • Conduct phone interviews on a regular basis
  • Perform interview coordination and scheduling
  • Clearly communicate company culture, job responsibilities, and job requirements to candidates
  • Source "Passive" candidates
  • Adhere to compliance requirements
  • Support recruiting best practices
  • Attend meetings and team updates to address Hiring Manager needs
  • Perform other duties as needed

Job Requirements:
  • 8 years of recruiting experience in technical staffing focused on Federal Program recruiting
  • Experience managing 10-15+ open requisitions
  • Strong knowledge and experience in recruiting, interviews, and contracting within the Public Sector business environment
  • Strong rolodex within the Intelligence and Department of Defense Communities
  • Proven track record of Federal program recruiting
  • Solid interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
  • Must have strong time management skills, sense of urgency, ability to re prioritize, and ability to multi-task
  • Experience with sourcing tools such as Linked-In Recruiter, Dice, Indeed and Clearance Jobs
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of applicable experience
