Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair and operation products, is searching for a Functional Developer- Business Analyst (E-Commerce) in our Information Technology Department for our Columbus, OH location.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work on a team within an agile scrum environment
- Works with internal/external staff to compile user stories by gathering and synthesizing robust detailed user requirements that clearly define the goals, outcomes, and desired experience of proposed projects
- Sees projects to completion through project / sprint / promotion, culminating in a post release analysis and documentation

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or comparable experience in business analysis / project management
- Preferably a minimum 3 years' experience in Business or Systems Analysis or related disciplines in the Wholesale Distribution or MRO industries
- Ability to interact with internal and external customers to interpret business requirements
- Ability to understand and interact with technically-oriented team members
- Demonstrated soft skills, including experience in facilitation, diplomacy, and conflict resolution
- Experience with project management including how to work with deadlines and how to estimate the duration of a project
- Ability to effectively communicate cross-organizationally and work well in a small team, fast-paced environment
- A highly motivated, well-organized, self-starter desiring an opportunity to grow both technically and professionally
- Must have a "can-do" attitude and is flexible to work outside of normal business hours
- This position requires someone who has excellent phone etiquette, possesses exceptional interpersonal skills, is customer service driven and fully embraces the Two Customer Philosophy with every interaction
- This position requires the ability to effectively problem solve and work independently of others
- This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to be responsive and persuasive at all levels of the organization. Superior ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors, managers, sales representatives and members of the general public in both written and verbal form
- This position requires the ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions
- This position requires the execution of an Employment Agreement contract between Kimball Midwest and the employee
- This position requires the successful completion of a ninety (90) day orientation period
