POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager, Advisory Services works in conjunction with Client Services, Operations and Business Development to develop and / or manage the partnership with multiple clients and / or prospective clients that form part of Newland Chase's corporate client portfolio or sales pipeline. The Manager, Advisory Services is responsible for coordinating with, and supporting the business' various other functions, to deliver high-quality, customer oriented advisory services.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strategic guidance to corporate clients and / or prospects for AMERICAS locations for a variety of immigration-related topics including: case assessment and eligibility requests; implementation, policy and process improvement recommendations for clients to improve their immigration program; and acting as the immigration subject matter expert for client-directed projects
Act as point of contact for highly visible, complex, and / or escalated immigration cases for our clients within the AMERICAS region
Work with Newland Chase's Advisory Services' team to complete multi-jurisdictional research projects and reference for immigration clients / prospects and internal Newland Chase Operations and Client Services' teams
Review internal and client-driven metrics to highlight immigration trends and areas to improve efficiency for both the Newland Chase clients and operational teams
Work closely with Newland Chase clients to identify educational opportunities and create / present training on topics relevant to our client's global mobility and business travel programs
Support and undertake informative training sessions for Newland Chase's internal teams to enhance their knowledge in specific immigration areas, and to improve their understanding of the work of Advisory Services to help them identify, pursue and generate new advisory projects
Work with Newland Chase's national offices and our Network Partners' team to monitor changes to immigration laws / regulations within the AMERICAS region, create immigration alerts around those changes for publication as well as ensuring dissemination of information across the Advisory Services' team
Together with Newland Chase Client Services' team, create onboarding strategies for new clients based in the AMERICAS region and monitor the onboarding process to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are satisfied
Assist the Newland Chase marketing team with external presentations and webinars, and represent Newland Chase at regional immigration conference, symposiums and similar engagements
Work with Newland Chase reporting and finance teams to prepare and review cost projects for clients and assist clients with budget forecasting exercises
Ensure that all billable work undertaken is profitable and in scope, is billed promptly on completion and that additional fees are agreed in advance for additional services
ESSENTIAL
Previous immigration advisory experience
Minimum 5 years of broad immigration experience across the AMERICAS region
Proven ability to research, identify, analyze and interpret information from a range of sources and develop an appropriate solution
Proven ability to work as part of a team
Proven ability to undertake work on a project basis
Able to demonstrate a positive and flexible attitude to work, particularly to new initiatives
Proven ability to manage a diverse and varied (potentially complex) workload
Proven ability to work with VIP clients, including senior level corporate contacts
Proven ability to maintain a clear overview of the key issues and prioritize effectively
Proven ability to influence effectively and sensitively, verbally and in writing
DESIRABLE
Graduate level degree or equivalent
Second language
Proven ability to manage external third parties
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Visual acuity; ability to view computer screen for full shift, approximately eight hours
Sitting for extended period of time
Manual dexterity for operating a computer, keyboard and mouse
Speaking for operating a phone with ability to convey detailed information accurately and clearly
WORKING CONDITIONS AND LOCATION:
Office environment: exposure to computer screens
The ability to work from home/telework would be available.
