HP ALM/QC Admin

Overview

The Senior HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), Quality Center (QC), HP Unified Functional Testing and HP Sprinter usage Engineer and Administrator would need to have at least 8 years of experience. This Candidate must have strong communication and technical skills that can manage customer's enterprise HP ALM/QC/UFT/Sprinter tools while providing guidance on best use of these tools to internal project teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling effective use of HP ALM/QC/UFT/Sprinter to deliver internal project team applications and end to end functional testing of integrated multiple systems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a high degree of HP tool availability and customer satisfaction. This role includes ALM/QC/UFT/Sprinter administrative responsibilities and demonstrated IT capabilities

Responsibilities and Duties

• Administration support including creation and management of custom, complex projects, workflows, custom fields, dashboards and report configurations.
• Extensively created projects and boards based on SCRUM and KANBAN methodologies.
• Providing support for more than 1 projects in ALM/Quality Center as Project and site admin.
• Providing ALM s to the new project users and Managers on usage of ALM modules.
• Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting QC/ALM Template's and standardizing templates.
• As an Admin - Creation of Domain, Projects, template projects, Users and User Groups. Assigning users to the Projects.
• Implemented integration with JIRA and ALM for Requirements synchronization and mapping for Traceability Matrix.
• Provide Daily Defect and Execution Summary Report.
• Involved in Defect Triage calls, Daily Scrums, Execution Status meetings to provide latest updates during the calls
• Actively participate in the discussion with Business team, QCSV and SQA for deciding the folder and Reports structure in ALM
• Creating Report templates and customizing Business View report in customization.
• Customizing the fields in all the modules of QC based on the client requirement.
• Creating various excel Test metric reports using SQL based on the modules/folders.
• Customizing dashboard reports using VBA scripts in ALM dashboard module.
• Generating advanced excel dashboard reports based on business team requirement.
• Writing workflow Customization using VB script
• Implemented Defect workflow customizations to restrict transition rules to the specific user groups.
• Customization using workflow code in Quality Center using VBScript, customizing the product as per the user's requirement.
• Migration & Upgradation of HPALM/QC

Requirements

• 8 years IT experience with demonstrated non-administrative IT capabilities similar to those listed above.
• 5+ years HP ALM/QC/UFT/LoadRunner experience.
• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in automated functional testing.
• Experience with integrating Jenkins continuous integration with HP UFT
• 5 years of Demonstrated experience HP ALM/QC/UFT/LoadRunner administration.
• Hands-on Experience in creating the necessary processes to manage an Enterprise, multiple Line of business ALM/QC/UFT/LoadRunner System.
• Experience troubleshooting user issues and good Customer service techniques.
• Experience designing and implementing the server architecture for HP ALM/QC/UFT/LoadRunner.
• Proven Expertise in creating UFT/LoadRunner test scripts.
• 3 years experience of Manual testing , Automated testing and Performance testing
• 3 Years' experience of agile methodology
