PolyCon Solutions, LLC is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Generalist. The HR Generalist has overall responsibility for all human resource functional areas, including recruiting and talent management, employee relations, and benefits administration.
Responsibilities:
Supports the recruitment/hiring process by:
- Actively sourcing, recruiting, screening, and interviewing any potential candidates.
- Working with Program Managers to create position descriptions.
- Developing and maintaining PolyCon's recruiting database.
Provides talent management support by:
- Creating and processing new employee orientation packages and new-hire checklists.
- Documenting and organizing post-interview debriefs.
- Conducting exit interviews, analyzing data, and making recommendations to the leadership team for action and continuous improvement
Supports employee relations by:
- Responding to internal HR related inquiries and/or requests and, provides assistance to employees as needed
- Maintaining associate personnel files and training materials, ensuring documents and manuals are current, accurate, confidential, and in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Supports employees in the departure process to include voluntary and involuntary separations
Performs benefits administration duties such as:
- Managing the enrollments and terminations of health and welfare plans.
- Processing required documents through insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.
- Managing annual Open Enrollment process.
Works closely with hiring managers and Leadership across the organization to understand current and future needs.
Qualifications:
- Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Must be able to maintain and track recruiting metrics.
- Experience navigating a KSN site or database as a user is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, the ability to interface with customers and collaborate in a cross-discipline team environment are required.
- Excellent written skills, including a thorough understanding of grammar, spelling, and formatting; strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and well-organized, with the ability to work well in a collaborative team setting.
- Experience or knowledge using an Applicant Tracking System.
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS in Human Resources, business administration, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of HR or business-related experience
