Job Description:

S2Tech is seeking a resourceful Junior Proposal Writer to assist in supporting our sales and marketing initiatives. We are seeking someone with a background in proposal writing to work directly with our Senior Vice President (SVP) on State Medicaid Healthcare proposals, project/program proposals, while also growing in Marketing and Business Development. Imagine being mentored by the SVP in proposal writing, Medicaid healthcare industry domain, and business development. This is a rare chance to start your career learning from and working with upper-level leaders in an organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support our internal proposal development process. This includes in-house proposals in addition to working with strategic partners to develop winning proposal content.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing proposal development processes
  • Manage existing content repository for proposal and other business development materials such as company qualifications, previous project descriptions, and other marketing materials.
  • Develop creative visuals and infographics to convey complex information in easy-to-digest formats.
  • Contribute to the development of content for our social media accounts and company website

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in business, marketing, communications, journalism, or similar field of study
  • Excitement to work and learn new things daily
  • Ability to bring energy to a team and provide new and innovative approaches
  • Minimum of 3 years of related proposal and content development experience (preferably in the Medicaid State healthcare environment)
  • Expert skills in MS Word and PowerPoint (working with templates, defined styles, section breaks, etc.) are essential.
  • Demonstrated success of involvement in winning proposals and a thorough understanding of the bid process.
  • Knowledge of business development and marketing strategies is preferred.
  • Experience supporting websites and social media accounts is preferred.
