Award winning Multifamily builder looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager for an $150M DC based project.

Your new company:

I am currently recruiting for Construction Assistant Project Manager for a market leading, award winning Multifamily General Contractor based in the Washington DC area. My clint is looking for a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager with 4+ years of experience that is looking to invest hard work into a growing company and progress their career into a Project Manager through the organization's development program.

Your new role:

The company are known for taking on large multifamily developments across the DMV region and are currently recruiting an APM for an $150M Multifamily Apartment project in Alexandria. This excellent project will consist of two Multifamily towers, retail, and commercial space and some community events space. The schedule for this project is 23 months and is starting later in 2021.

As an Assistant Project Manager you will stationed at the project and will play a pivotal part in the 6 person strong Project Management team, reporting into a Project Manager. Your day to day will vary substantially, this organization set up by allowing you to gain exposure to all aspects of the construction process. You will be involved in elements of the design, preconstruction through to construction and handover. You be tasked with contributing to the management of the financials, schedule, subcontractors/vendors, quality control as well as the required project administration and contract reviews.

What you'll need to succeed:

To be successful in this role you will have 4+ years' experience working for a general contractor delivering Multifamily, Hotel or Office Build projects in the $50M-$150M range. You will also be degree qualified within construction/business management, architecture, or civil engineering.

What you'll get in return: In return you will receive a competitive base salary up to $110k depending on experience, a truck allowance, project specific bonus potential as well as industry leading healthcare and 401K employer contributions.
