Qualifications:
Loan Operations Specialist.
Should be based in Boston area to be able to go into office once WFH is lifted, remote for now.
Responsibilities:
Position Summary: Provides a variety of activities to support the processing of transactions and payments on loan accounts.
Performs a variety of loan operations activities in accordance with department policies and procedures.
Provides prompt and courteous service to clients and internal staff.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of loan transactions including payments, payoffs, various escrow transactions, loan disbursements and transfers.
Addresses inquiries and research requests from internal and external clients.
Uses all tools available to perform research, analyze transactions and follow through on appropriate resolution.
Communicates results in a professional and prompt manner.
Tracks loan documentation in and out of department.
Archives documents to optical storage.
Responds to various document requests.
Balances transaction tickets and GL entries to system totals.
Performs loan file maintenance as requested.
Ensures proper approvals are evident.
Also performs routine maintenance in executing proper procedures for other loan administrative tasks.
Coordinate and pay escrow accounts including escrow yearly escrow analysis and tracking non escrow loans.
Preform hazard/PMI/Flood insurance monitoring.
Participate in Bank Operations project initiatives related to efficiency, service delivery improvements and regulatory issues.
Assists in department special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
BS/BA preferred with a minimum of 2 years' experience in financial services, preferably in loan operations environment.
Attention to detail and ability to self-motivate and juggle multiple assignments with speed, accuracy and attention to detail.
Organized with good time management and analytical skills.
Works well in a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with state and federal banking regulations.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing to all levels of responsibility.
Flexibility in hours required to cover client service requirements for West Coast banking Offices until 8:00 p.m.
Knowledge of loan core processing systems and optical storage systems, especially Fiserv Signature and Nautilus.
