- As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for strategic direction, roadmap, key KPIs and the P&L for one of client's Product and Services portfolios.
- You will also be responsible for bringing all the key stakeholders together in support of the product offerings including the research, analysis, development and implementation of a strategic plan to help client reach new market segments with existing and/or new products for a market segment.
- You will build and maintain close relationships with customers, partners and analysts to identify market needs and then build a strategy that includes the offering and go-to-market requirements. As it's implemented, you will drive the plan as the strategic champion across our teams, and help calibrate the strategy and execution to optimize for in-market learnings and to maximize market penetration and revenue results. You will lead cross functional teams from sales, marketing, delivery and technology to build and execute the market segment strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the product strategy and roadmap
- Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
- Collect, manage and maintain traceability of needs from all stakeholders
- Write the business case for investments and gain internal approval
- Write product requirements documents
- Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to assess and establish partnerships
- Be the recognized expert in the business on the product, the market, relevant technology and the competition.
- Support the development of core positioning and messaging for the product
- Lead the virtual product team to ensure delivery of agreed objectives
- Set pricing
- Monitor, report and improve product performance
- Promote the product to sales teams through sales training sessions, webinars, newsletters and other mechanisms
- Collate feedback from sales and customers
- Represent the voice of the customer in senior level management meetings
- Evangelise the product internally and externally
- Be recognized as a leader in the business and build relations with business stakeholders
- Deliver a regular (e.g. monthly) volume, revenue and profit forecasts
Performance Objectives:
- Assess and report on the state of client's existing Products and Services.
- During the first six weeks, work with members of the Product, Design, Marketing, Customer and Platform Engineering teams to understand and report on how the end-to-end client journeys are being met by the business and received by the customer. This report will include a 'first impressions' analysis of the areas of concern (if any) with respect to process, data or design.
- Own the portfolio roadmap of Product and Services.
- Client has a number of propositions that are delivered through people, process and technology. Within two months of starting, you will need to have grasped the fundamentals of our client needs and represented these with a roadmap driven by objectives and key results that is supported by its key stakeholders.
- Define the client side Products and Services KPIs.
- Client relies on data to make informed decisions. You will be expected to own the KPIs for your portfolio, publish them regularly, drive their adoption across the business and use them to steer the direction of your portfolio. Within six weeks you will be expected to publish these KPIs.
- Establish a client side product working group with key stakeholders.
- You will need to collect, manage and maintain traceability of needs from all stakeholders, internal and external to the business. During the first 3 months, you will establish a working group (or groups) to socialise and prioritise these needs and their associated value to ensure alignment across the business.

You should have proven experience performing the following activities:
- Discover market problems and opportunities by interviewing users and researching market segments
- Understand the market buying journey and requirements
- Identify, leverage and communicate the company's unique abilities to deliver value to the market
- Analyze market needs, market size and competitive landscape
- Integrate products, services and partners into a coherent offering focused on solving a problem for the market
- Establish pricing models, guidelines and procedures to capture value from the product offering
- 5+ years of experience in a Product Management
- AI/ML background (required)
- Workforce Management/Platform driven solutions (desirable)
