Le'fant is seeking a PM with at least 8 years of experience managing high level, complex projects. Must be adept at developing the project plans and schedules, facilitating meetings, identifying and managing risks, and reporting on progress. The candidate will:
- Provide onsite PM support and must have experience with DOD and Military services.
- Be responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, making work assignments, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
- Be responsible for the overall management of the contract performance and shall exclusively serve in this role on the Contract while supporting the DSPO mission, vision, strategic plan, and priorities for suicide prevention policy oversight and compliance and responsibilities outlined DoDI 6490.16 and DoDI 6400.09.
- Participate in monthly meetings as well as meetings scheduled by and with the COR in order to discuss status of progress against all deliverables. will have personnel associated with active tasks available during a meeting in attendance, either in person or by phone.
- Maintain flexibility needed to address and meet unanticipated requirements that emerge through the suicide prevention community, Congress, the White House, Secretary of Defense, and Service Secretaries.
- Operate at a high operations tempo to keep pace with short or no notice taskers (can be due in as little as one hour). These typically involve suicide prevention inquiries, research-related issues, data management, analysis, briefing creation and delivery, and consultation on projects performed by and for DSPO.
- Monitor suicide prevention-related efforts within the Department by conducting benchmarking and best practices research within the Department and externally with Federal agencies, non-government and non-profit organizations, and academia, providing updated findings quarterly
- Must have great client management skills and be familiar with interacting with Senior level government employees and non-government officials to include at the congressional level.
- This is a high visibility role with a vital mission serving our Service Members and Veterans.
Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of high level PM experience
- Must have at least a Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Project Management or a related field.
- A background in suicide prevention is preferred
- A PMP certification is preferred.
- Prior experience with DoD P&R or DHRA is preffered
