Job description
NexGen Data Systems is seeking a Recruiter with IT recruitment experience who can help with staffing our government contracts. This position requires a motivated, detailed, self-starter who can balance competing priorities while maintaining professionalism. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, excel at candidate prospecting, have a natural ability to foster relationships, and be detail-oriented. This position will work remotely so the candidate must be a dependable self-starter with a strong work ethic. At least 5 years of professional experience in full-time recruitment, screening, onboarding, and staffing support is required. Recruitment experience in IT, Department of Defense, or government contracting if highly regarded. This position's goal will be to ensure that the company's staffing requirements are always met, professionally executed, and that new hire engagement is maximized. This is a full-time employee position with our company.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ongoing recruitment and screening of candidates for open positions
Execute and support candidate screening and hiring processes
Facilitate procedures after hiring for onboarding and new hire engagement
Engage appropriate levels and positions to establish qualification criteria for candidates
Publish job ads on careers pages, job boards and social media
Source and contact passive candidates
Create talent pipelines with high-potential candidates for future job opportunities
Keep detailed records of applicants' information, including resumes, skills, and interview feedback
Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations
Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations
Collaborate with payroll to serve as backup when needed
Utilization of HRIS (Paylocity) in screening, onboarding and tracking candidates
Work in collaboration with other Recruiter
Provide support to HR Manager as requested

Desired/Required Skills:
5+ years of professional experience in staffing and recruitment is required
Bachelor Degree in Management or Leadership preferred
Ability to execute high volume of the first hiring stages (job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing)
Knowledge of staffing procedures and best practices
Secret clearance or higher preferred
Solid knowledge of relevant HR and federal contracting regulations
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Reliable with exceptional work ethic
Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, experience with Paylocity strongly preferred
Recruitment experience in IT, federal contracting, and/or DoD contracting is beneficial
Detail orientated with self-motivated attitude
Collaborative, team focus to support cohesive work team
Ability to handle competing priorities with high expectations in a team-oriented environment
