Our top global Electrical & Electronic Manufacturing client is in search of an experienced fully remote Senior SAP PP Business Analyst. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the client's global SAP application.
As the Senior SAP PP Business Analyst, you will be operating directly with business customers and engaged in capturing business requirements, solution design and implementation. The Senior SAP PP Business Analyst will collaborate with the development team and other functional team members to provide comprehensive cross functional solutions.
The Senior SAP PP Business Analyst will be expected to offer support for the Production Planning (PP) and associated areas relative to the SAP application solution. As functional requests or enhancements or new implementations emerge, you will be responsible for understanding the business need and converting that need into an appropriate resolution approach that fulfills the request and aligns with the client's strategic direction for growth.

- This position will provide support for the Production Planning (PP) and associated areas relative to the SAP application solution. As functional requests or enhancements or new implementations arise, this individual will be responsible for understanding the business need and translating that need into an appropriate resolution approach that fulfills the request and aligns with the company's strategic direction for growth.
- The Senior SAP PP Business Analyst will follow the development lifecycle around the SAP environment from defining requirements with business representatives, design, configuration, functional specification development and testing of required objects, to final production migration.
- Perform presentations to client audiences and professional peers and communicating with colleagues, management, and business team members on requirements, problems, project status, and issues.
- Researching and maintaining knowledge in emerging technologies and their application to the business.
- Aid in the creation, development and implementation of IT processes and procedures.
- Consistently support compliance by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and the Company's policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties deemed necessary to support the company's business operations.
- Must have 5+ years of SAP Production Planning configuration experience.
- Must have a good understanding of production planning and related business processes, including Quality Management (QM) and Materials Management (MM).
- Must have participated in at least two plant level SAP implementations in the PP role.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting a live ERP environment in the PP role.
- Thorough understanding of PP related master data definitions and master data mapping rules relative to MRP, planned orders, production orders, BOMs, routings, costing etc.
- Experience with configuration of MRP, panned orders, production orders, BOMs, routings, and outputs is required.
- A knowledge of the integration between the PP function and other SAP functions such as Materials Management, Quality Management, Controlling and Finance is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of product costing data, methods and configuration is highly desirable.
- Data conversion techniques using SAP Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW) or similar applications is desirable.
- Must be able to adhere to strict deadlines.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or government law.
- Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage several projects at one time while providing high attention to details and excellent follow-through skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field and 5+ years working experience in various business areas; or combination of relevant education and experience.
- Proficient in the use of personal computers, internet and Microsoft Office suite of software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook (or related e-mail system); Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio to document project and implementation methodology deliverables.
