- 7+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in the IT field.
- 4+ years' experience with developing requirements documentation and providing business analysis support to federal customers.
- 3+ years' experience facilitating and/or utilizing Agile principles and Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Daily scrums/stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
- Agile enthusiast with experience leading Agile/Scrum/Kanban teams and modeling Agile best practices.
- Ability to effectively elicit customer requirements and translate them into agile user stories for the development and testing teams.
- Detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong presentation facilitation skills.
- Adaptable, delivery-oriented team player with interpersonal and consultative skills.
- Practical experience generating process documentation and reports.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with and understanding of various technologies and technological infrastructures.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science.

Role Summary
The Senior Business Analyst is a critical role on our team. You are involved in designing or modifying business or IT systems, interacting with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their problems and needs. You will be responsible for requirements documentation designs, and user story creation/communication. You will be working with a federal client with a global presence. Our overall team provides Operations, Development, Security, Data Management, and Program Management support.
What you will be doing
- Interacting with stakeholders and customers to elicit, analyze and understand their needs and requirements.
- Leading visible projects delivering value to the customers iteratively, on time and with high quality.
- Creating requirements documentation, design diagrams, and wireframes.
- Facilitating and managing various agile processes and ceremonies as part of the agile development lifecycle.
- Developing, updating and supporting business and system processes and procedures for the program.
- Creating and delivering project and program reports and artifacts as required.
- Create informative, engaging presentations for the client and program team as required.
- Supporting customer and team member agile adoption.
What we need from you

Bonus Points
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or related agile certification.
- Knowledge and/or experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD).
- Experience using JIRA, ServiceNow or other tools supporting Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, such as SharePoint and Azure.
- Knowledge and/or facilitation of SAFe for Government.
- Knowledge and/or facilitation of ITIL-4 Foundations.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
