Overview:

If so, this Senior HR Consultant position is for you! BOOST supports government contracting clients by providing back-office support in the areas of Accounting, Contracts, HR, Marketing, Recruiting and Strategic Pricing.

As the Sr. HR Consultant you'll possess in-depth knowledge of HR disciplines and be able to provide strategic leadership as well as hands-on experience in the following areas: HR Operations, Government Contracting HR Compliance, HRIS, Benefits, Project Management and Employee Relations. In this role you will provide high quality, proactive HR support to multiple clients a day and be an excellent problem-solver with stellar written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver customized HR solutions to multiple clients at once.
  • Provide exceptional client specific HR related information on a long-term or as needed basis to clients.
  • Analyze, determine and develop HR strategic plans with high level executives.
  • Coach and advise executives and/or HR professionals on best practices.
  • Serve as main HR support person for clients that do not have HR function internally.
  • Conduct HR assessments, write and present final reports to client executives.
  • Provide regular, proactive HR related communications to clients.
  • Communicate business impact of HR best practices to clients.
  • Provide OFCCP, DOL and compliance review and guidance.
  • Understand and prepare government contract reporting (VETS- 4212, EEO-1, etc.)
  • Analyze, review and prepare policies, employee handbooks and code of ethics.
  • Design, implement and assist with performance management solutions.
  • Review HR technology and advise clients on system options.
  • Provide employee relations support and guidance; assist with terminations as needed.
  • Prepare employee communications for clients.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree required; SHRM-CP/PHR preferred.
  • 7+ years of related experience in human resources, including 5+ years of experience working with government contractors.
  • Experience working in consulting environment strongly preferred.
  • Proactive and consultative style, with a strong service focus required.
  • Strong knowledge of government contracting HR compliance.
  • HR project management experience preferred.
  • Ability to produce expected results in a rapidly changing environment required.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in deciding priorities and procedures.
  • Ability to provide consistent, high-quality service across all assignments.
  • Accuracy and commitment to quality of work.
  • Well organized, detail oriented with ability to multi-task effectively.
