Senior Business Systems Analyst - Finance Data & Integration
The Salesforce.com IT Finance Enterprise Data and Integration team is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with an extensive background in delivering scalable and robust enterprise integration, data warehouse and business intelligence solutions for a global company. You will be a key contributor on the Enterprise Data Services team delivering on mission-critical integrations/datawarehouse/business intelligence projects that run our global business.

The successful candidate possesses strong analytical, written, oral and consulting skills, able to articulate and/or document technical solutions for business users. The Business Systems Analyst is a key member of the Finance Data & Integration team and will primarily focus on EI, EDW and BI functional areas. This role is within the Information Technology organization and supports a variety of business process areas within our finance organization. Responsibilities

• Engage with the business users at different levels to understand business needs, document the requirements. Analyze, document and evaluate the requirements and make recommendations on implementation

• Work effectively with various program owners, business partners, IT teams, and the application teams to identify, document, and prioritize requirements.
• Develop and maintain numerous project deliverables that support the program, including functional and non-functional specifications, solution design documents, quality plans, and other project artifacts; hands-on application configuration/customization.
• Partner with various business partners across the and solution teams to evaluate how to best leverage integration, data warehouse and business intelligence technology functionality to meet evolving business requirements and information needs.
• Ensure solutions promote simplification, efficiency and an increasingly higher level of productivity for users.
• Provide functional leadership during technology upgrades/implementations and work successfully as a liaison with various internal business partners.
• Identify test scenarios, own and develop test scripts, execute end to end and testing and facilitate user acceptance testing. Work effectively with the technical/development team and help them understand the specifications/requirements for technical development, testing and implementation.
• Test new/modified applications to ensure applications and results meet end-users needs.
• Participate in change management activities (UAT, training, communications, online help, business readiness etc.) supporting program rollouts in partnership with global Subject Matter Experts and Business Readiness Manager.
• Partner with the support organization to provide training, support and technical assistance to end users.
• Participate in Agile scrum team, responsible as business analyst lead and central subject matter expert.

Required Skills/Experience

• 5-7 years of hands-on roles implementing or leading enterprise software, specifically in the areas of Enterprise Integration and Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence as a lead business analyst.
• Strong background in owning, driving and gathering business requirements, assessments, specially in the areas of data analysis, data extraction/delivery, source/target mappings and reporting.
• Strong background in working with both the business and technical team, coordinating solution design, development/configuration, and deployment across multi-dimensional teams.
• Strong background in business process analysis, data modeling and ability to proactively identify, manage, and correct data quality issues.
• Experience with business functional domain knowledge in Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance.
• Experience with ETL (Informatica, Snowflake.), Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence reporting/analytic tools (Tableau),
• Background in IT audit, accounting/finance, and process improvement with some experience partnering and collaborating on Sarbanes Oxley readiness initiatives for system implementations and transformations with Business/SoX teams
• Engage with vendor teams for data collection as required
• Hands-on experience with databases and using SQL tools like SQL developer, SQLplus, Toad for data query, analysis and validating test results.
• Experience with leading technologies and platforms, such as Salesforce, ERP, Workday, Coupa, Concur, Oracle Financials, etc.
• Excellent team player with excellent spoken and written communication skills with ability to work with virtual & global cross functional teams with the flexibility to work in different time zones, to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience demonstrating skills in teaching and explaining complex concepts, negotiation and persuasion, conflict resolution, creative and proactive thinking, and situational adaptation of these skills.
• Experience and knowledge of API, SOA, ESB concepts and tools with supporting/testing real time interfaces with different systems is a plus
• Salesforce experience is a plus.

Good to Have:
Experience with business use cases for Predictive Analytics, RPA(Robotic Process Automation) and AI/ML
Experience with Master Data Management and Data Warehouse/Analytics Governance implementation frameworks.
Experience with enabling business with AI/ML use cases to discover new opportunities for growth and optimization
