Together these entities make up the generic and branded U.S. business. Lupin has a significant generic pipeline, and a branded focus on women's health. Our first Research and Development facility in the US is located in Coral Springs, Florida which focuses on generic and branded orally inhaled and nasal drug products. Somerset, New Jersey is home to one of twelve commercial manufacturing sites globally and the only commercial manufacturing facility in the United States for Lupin, as well as additional Research and Development teams. Responsibilities:Conducts basic laboratory activities following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Assures that quality standards are met. Documents activities following cGMP rules.
- Conduct basic laboratory activities including for example: analyzing raw materials, in-process materials and finished pharmaceutical products for quality, safety, purity, strength and identity using applicable methods or manufacturing drug product, following the cGMP, EH&S and other relevant guidelines, FDA and other governing bodies.
- Set up and operate lab equipment. Prepare reagents, solvents and solutions for analytical and formulation activities. Prepare and maintain accurate records in lab notebooks of all testing performed. Process analytical data on lab equipment such as HPLC/UPLC, enter data in spreadsheets and conduct routine calculations. Support the manufacture of Dry Powder Inhaler and Metered Dose Inhaler drug product.
- Participate in project team activities and support project timelines and proactively contribute to meeting the team objectives.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with team members
- Conduct lab work in accordance with SOPs; follow corporate safety rules and procedures.
- Comply with Corporate guidelines and policies
Educaiton & Experience
- BS Degree preferably in chemistry, pharmacy or related fields. 0-2 years' experience with a BS.
- Familiarity with analytical methodology, laboratory practices, wet chemistry, manufacturing or process equipment used in laboratories such as HPLS/UPLC, UV-Vis, powder blender, etc.
- Computer literacy (MS-Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
- Effective English written and oral communication skills.
