Our communities offer independent living, assisted living, nursing care, home care, pharmacy services, affordable housing for low-income seniors and more.

The Recruiter position is responsible for administering the full life-cycle recruitment of hourly staff in assigned region, with a focus on nursing positions. The Recruiter will manage the overall interview, selection and closing processes and ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.This position will be located in Bradenton, FL.

Job Summary:

  • Builds candidate network through the organizations applicant tracking software, networking, referrals, and social media platforms. Promotes the organization's reputation and attractiveness as a great place to work.

  • Implements traditional and creative strategies to recruit both active and passive candidates.

  • Posts job openings on applicant tracking system and external sites.

  • Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals.

  • Reviews/phone screens employment applications to match applicants with job requirements. Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills.

  • Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.

  • Administers any pre-employment assessments.

  • Selects qualified job applicants and refer them to hiring managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.

  • Contact job applicants to inform them of the status of their applications.

  • Follows-up with hiring manager on candidate selection and makes offers to candidate.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. Business Administration, Human Resource Management or related field.

  • Three (3) years' experience in the successful recruitment of hourly line staff required, preferably in healthcare with an emphasis on nurse recruiting.

  • Experience with Human Resource Applicant Tracking Software, Business Intelligence or other report writing platform.

  • Successful experience with social media, HR Recruitment Marketing

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office products.

  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment and selection.

  • Ability to build relationships and trust to ensure a robust pipeline of candidates.

  • Ability to assess candidate's skills, experience, and relevant knowledge and compare them to the job requirements.

  • Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organized and detail oriented.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor, peers, and external /internal candidates via telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.

  • Ability to represent organization with professionalism to all external parties.
