A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

As a Maintenance Technician, you ensure that our residents have safe, comfortable apartments in good repair and that they are happy with the level of service they receive. When residents move out, you take great pride in making units move-in ready for the next residents. You promptly take care of any work orders that come in and make the appropriate repairs in the apartments of current residents. Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, you assist in keeping up the grounds and common areas.

With urgency, you also respond to after-hours onsite emergencies as they come up. You are known for being calm, friendly, responsive, and capable. In accordance with local, federal, state, and company standards, you promote safety and risk management. You keep equipment maintained according to manufacturer specifications. You are a leader, a go-getter, an organizer, a record-keeper, a problem-solver, and a hands-on technician. You love the variety inherent in your job! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

* Relevant education
* Previous maintenance experience

HVAC certification would be a plus. Do you have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information in easy-to-understand terms? Can you work independently? Do you have strong time management and organizational skills? Can you meet deadlines with high-quality work? Is being dependable, professional, and a team player at the heart of all you do? If yes, you might just be the perfect technician for this residential property management position!

WORK SCHEDULE

This maintenance position will generally work Monday - Friday as well as some Saturdays. You will also be on-call on a rotating schedule for possible maintenance emergencies.
