Job description
As Yellowstone Landscape continues to grow, we must continue to increase our frontline workforce of Crew Leaders, Services Workers, and Technicians. Hiring frontline workers is already challenging in today's environment, and the difficulty in doing so will only continue to increase. We therefore are seeking a professional Frontline Recruiting and Retention Manager to support our Branch Operation Teams with best practices, plan reviews, measurements and tracking, clarity of local accountability, and occasional on-site/in-field support in recruiting new frontline hires, retaining those hires, and productively reaching our workforce staffing goals. In this highly visible role, the Frontline Recruiting and Retention Manager will:
- travel to most of our Branch Locations to become acquainted with their unique needs,
- work with the Branch and Account/Production managers on clear and market specific plans, tactics, and timing/milestones for recruiting and hiring,
- share best practices across the company in generating and executing such plans,
- measure and track the cost and success of new hiring initiatives,
- create a sense of urgency and plan updates around hiring plans that are coming up short,
- and help ensure clarity and success Branch by Branch and in total across Yellowstone's frontline hiring needs.
The Frontline Recruiting and Retention Manager will build relationships with Branch and Account Hiring Managers and their local teams and will report to our Florida-based Vice President of Human Resources.

Responsibilities:
- Work alongside Account Managers and Branch Managers to execute on proven and develop new ways to find, recruit, hire and retain Service Worker and Crew Leader candidates
- Proactively anticipate hiring needs and partner with Hiring Managers to avoid worker shortages
- Generate and manage relationships with local agencies, clubs, magazines and newspapers, and other sources of candidates
- Create job ads, flyers, brochures, videos and other recruitment material in conjunction with our Marketing Department
- Help plan, generate and or execute job fairs, neighborhood/church or other local recruiting visits, partnerships, and other new recruiting opportunities
- Initiate and track the cost/investment and success/failure of new recruiting initiatives, and where and as needed and appropriate, provide in-person field support for such initiatives.
Requirements:
- Verbal and written fluency in Spanish language is required.
- Overnight travel and day trips to local Branches will be required.
- Three to five years of related experience.
- Experience in landscape branch management or degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
- Solid communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience using an HRIS a plus.
- Ability to work independently.
- Enjoys building relationships and communicating with frontline crew leaders and service workers.
