Waterfall Bank (IO) is a brand new bank headquartered in Clearwater, FL. We are looking for an experienced Loan Documentation Specialist who will be responsible for the preparation and processing of all new, renewed and modified consumer and commercial loan requests.

Primary functions include:

•Preparation of documents for new, renewed and modified loans including sub-notes for guidance lines per the loan officer's instructions for commercial and consumer loan request on Laser Pro documentation system

•Residential department document preparation, if applicable

•Index and commit loan documents into imaging system

•Assist with maintaining the on-line loan report, and other loan operations reporting as assigned.

•Review all provided UCC searches and other title searches as needed;

•Ensure all loan approvals are procured and required supporting documentation is in the file prior to documentation.

•Verify all insurance received is accurate and follows the bank's policy

•Prepare required closing document checklist and ensure that all received loan items for documentation are complete, pre-closing instructions signed, and items collected with all exceptions to loan policy and procedures documented on the file checklist;

•Serve as the residential construction loan administrator, back up for commercial and consumer post-closing reviews

The candidate should be able to demonstrate an understanding of and follow Board-established policies, procedures, and regulations, including those defined by BSA, AML CIP and OFAC. The person in this role should be cognizant of transactions, inquiries that appear suspicious, able to obtain reasonable and verifiable explanations and be comfortable in notifying the Compliance Officer when necessary.

The candidate should have 1-2 years of loan documentation experience with knowledge of banking regulations; Laser Pro experience preferred. The candidate should be detail oriented, possess time management skills, and has the ability to work independently or on a team. The candidate must display professionalism in appearance. The candidate will have an ability to communicate with solid verbal and written skills and possess superior organizational skills. This is a new bank so the candidate should have the ability to multi-task and learn new functions will be highly valued.
