Green Courte Residential Holdings ("GCRH"), LLC, located in Clearwater, Florida, is a high growth real estate investment trust (REIT) that owns and operates numerous land-lease manufactured home communities and senior living communities throughout the United States. As a result of our rapid growth, we are expanding our team. We are currently looking for a proactive Senior Reporting and Financial Analyst with strong Excel and problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, an entrepreneurial mindset, a willingness to learn, and a desire to grow professionally. This is an exciting growth opportunity within a fast-paced and rapidly expanding organization.
This position will interact with corporate leadership and work closely with the leadership of the businesses to provide ad-hoc analytical support while also ensuring all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting is completed accurately and on-time. Additionally, this position will be heavily involved with the annual budgeting process and called upon to assist in identifying areas of improvement required to facilitate Green Courte Residential's ongoing expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
As a direct report of the firm's Vice President of Reporting, the Senior Reporting & Financial Analyst is a highly impactful position leading and driving various projects to help GCRH operate its platforms more effectively and efficiently. Examples of such responsibilities and projects include:
- Partner with cross-functional teams across GCRH and GCP to help enhance processes and automate financial and operational reporting
- Develop, implement, and analyze operational KPIs, dashboards, financial reporting, and forecasting models.
- Identify, implement, manage, automate, and improve reporting while establishing strong quality checks and controls to ensure data accuracy.
- Identify and implement operational tools to help run the day-to-day business and anticipate the demands of the growing organization.
- Compile, prepare, manage, and disseminate operational and financial reports, including but not limited to: Weekly operational reporting, including ad hoc requests. Monthly preliminary financials, including variance analysis, reconciliation, data uploads/maintenance. Quarterly financial statements, including variance analysis, operational KPIs, and management presentations. Annual budget planning, forecasting, and strategizing initiatives.
- Recommendations regarding business direction and go-forward forecast assumptions.
- Collaborate with senior and property level management relating to recurrent deliverables and new initiatives; key resource for insightful analysis and facilitating decision making.
- Perform ad hoc projects as required.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field required; MBA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles
- 3-5+ years of related finance and/or analytical experience. Property and/or Hospitality Management preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated ability in analysis including comparative ROI, cost-benefit, valuation, basic statistical models, and cost accounting.
- Advanced computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling is a must.
- Experience with financial planning & budgeting systems; experience with SQL and database modeling a plus.
- Experience with advanced analytical/visualization tools like Power BI, and/or Tableau a plus.
- Experience with an enterprise general ledger system a plus.
- Experience with aggregating and consolidating information from disparate systems, analyzing data, and presenting findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business processes and to distill insightful conclusions from large volumes of data.
- Works independently with limited supervision; also works well collaborating across functional areas.
- Manages and prioritizes projects in a detailed, effective, process-oriented manner, within a fast-paced environment.
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills; oriented to proactive and transparent consultation and professional communication with all stakeholders.
- Forward-thinking; anticipates and addresses potential issues well in advance of deadlines.
