SUMMARY
Working independently, the Director, International Business Planning and Analysis helps lead the international month-end reporting and analysis process, prepares and develops existing and new monthly reports, analyzes individual country financial data and performs ad hoc analysis and research as needed for senior management. The principal business outcome of this position is to provide organizational leaders with accurate, timely financial data for decision-making. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Review financial results of individual countries.
- Assist in applying metrics related to inventory, accounts payable, sales, etc. in a uniform method to all countries.
- Perform daily and weekly sales analysis.
- Respond to daily informational requests from country finance directors and senior management.
- Assist in the quarterly and annual reviews by auditors.
- Create and prepare month end closing schedules such as Key Metric summary comparison by country.
- Respond to senior management questions during month and quarter end close.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses related to store & country performance including New Store Proforma and weekly Sales & Margin Analysis.
- Understand US GAAP accounting concepts in the international countries.
- Lead the quarterly forecasting process by reviewing the submitted forecasts, interpreting trends, and identifying issues.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
- Bachelor's degree in accredited Business Administration or Finance; Master's degree preferred
- Work experience in finance, accounting and strategy of 10 to 14 years required
- Experience with international business units, foreign exchange or IFRS required
- Financial reporting and Planning experience required
- Experience with ERP systems, Hyperion Essbase, Great Plains, Navision, Cognos, Tableau or 1010 preferred
- Must be able to work extended, non-traditional hours as needed during peak accounting periods, such as month-end or year-end reporting periods
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Expert knowledge of Excel, reporting and financial tools. Mastery of MS Office tools. Good PowerPoint and presentation skills.

- Expert Budgeting and forecasting processes, procedures, principles and systems leadership
- Expert analytical skills and ability to break-down complex problems and provide and help implement recommendations
- Proven leadership skills and achieving organizational buy-in

- Expert ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple simultaneous projects.
