Job description

Our Company is seeking:

An experienced and highly motivated Front Desk Attendant for our Condominium Association in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Responsible for professional, effective and efficient handling of all residents' requests and needs upon entering the community. The Front Desk/Concierge or Desk Attendant also provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of Association Management. He or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding hospitality and customer service skills representative as they relate to this function. This includes working interdepartmentally, as well as, with our external customers.

Hiring for one full time position and one part time position, must be flexible to work any shift. Building lobby is open everyday 24 hours per day.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone and greet residents/guests upon entry, respond to requests, questions, and any other needs.
  • Document issues or transactions as needed.
  • Develop knowledge of surrounding areas, attractions, and events.
  • Keep track of activity logs and incident reports, records, and forms for the Community Association Manager's review daily.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
  • Monitor Emergency Response System and respond in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a secure environment to the building by monitoring the cameras and common area doors to the building.
  • Monitor and control the Electronic Access Control Systems as needed.
  • Log in packages, flower, and food deliveries and tracks them through to pick-up by recipient.
  • Follow-up on all complaints/issues notifying Community Management, as necessary.
  • Ensure all safety precautions and procedures are followed while performing duties.
  • May assist with resident notifications or special events.

Requirements:

  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Minimum 1 year of outstanding customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required. Previous hospitality, condominium or similar experience strongly preferred.
  • Customer service experience
  • Proficient in computer software including but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills.

Salary: From $14.00 per hour
