RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Fort Lauderdale, FL that is seeking an IT Business Analyst. Responsibilities:

• IT BA will provide support to the ERP Project Manager for all matters related to assigned functional business areas
• Collaborate with the Information Technology Services department, assigned functional business areas, external consultants, and other stakeholders on various aspects of the implementation project
• Serve as the test lead for assigned business areas with responsibilities that include gathering requirements for testing, and creating test plans and test scenarios for all aspects of the project
• As an IT BA, you will assist assigned functional business areas in analyzing data from reports and queries, executing test plans, and evaluating test results
• Facilitate and coordinate efforts among all project team members in correcting issues identified during testing
• Identify issues impacting assigned functional business areas and lead efforts to resolve them with the project team
• Review software updates for impact on assigned functional business areas and make recommendations to resolve issues
• As an IT BA, this role will document workflows and procedures associated with the implementation of the ERP in the assigned functional business areas
• Assist the project's training lead in various areas of training to include developing training content, and delivering training content
• Performs related work as required

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field
• Three (3) or more years of experience working with Finance or Information Technology teams as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
• Experience working on an ERP software implementation project or supporting an ERP after go-live is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent ability to effectively communicate both business processes and technical concepts and appropriately deliver messages based on the target audience
• Adept at building and maintaining strong relationships and collaboration skills in a business environment
• Strong knowledge of Financial concepts to include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Supply Chain and Inventory
• General knowledge of ERP software and how they work for functional business areas such as Finance, Procurement, and Human Capital Management
• General knowledge in software development and/or software implementation concepts
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and ability to manipulate tabular data using SQL queries
• Advanced ability to create test scenario tools and templates for business users using Business Intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Microsoft Excel
• Advanced ability to manage numerous tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced ability to produce professional documentation
• Business Analyst certification is a plus
• Project Management experience and PMI certification are a plus
• Experience with Infor-Lawson products is a plus
