Position Summary:
As a long-term, temporary Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting all functions in the HR department including hiring and recruiting, training and development, benefits administration, records management, and employee satisfaction initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resource Department including, but not limited to, opening mail, filing, faxing, copying, and maintaining inventory of forms, and preparing correspondence.
- Manage the HR Inbox by proving accurate and responsive answers to employees' questions.
- Assist with the training and organizational development programs that address personal, professional, and organizational needs of employees and departments.
- Serve as benefits support in benefits program questions.
- Coordinate employee action changes with payroll to ensure payroll changes take effect in a timely manner.
- Ensure open communications with staff and develops positive employee relations.
- Organize and coordinate the maintenance of department records, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality.
- Research and analyze data for special projects and policy development.
- Respond to routine inquiries from vendors and internal customers in a timely fashion.
- Organize employee communication events, social outings and activities.
Experience & Required Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's Degree.
- Experience: You will need 2+ years of administrative experience in an environment which involves human resource management, organizational development or dealing with all levels of an organization for this opportunity.
- Knowledgeable with human resources laws and federal/state compliance requirements.
- Computer and internet literacy; specifically, with MS office applications and knowledge of Word and Excel is required.
- Enthusiastic, self-directed, and well-organized individual with ability to work on multiple things at once.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Good social skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple levels of the organization.
- Motivated to work independently and within a team environment.
- Must be COVID vaccinated within 90 days of start date or submit a medical or religious exemption request within 7 days of start date.
