Job description

You will be based in one of our global office as part of McKinsey's firm assessment team. This team is responsible for providing recruiting assessment guidance and expertise to our global services. You will partner with the recruiting function and leaders within our global functions to implement and improve assessment tools and processes to ensure an outstanding candidate experience and the selection of top talent.

You will focus on further embedding existing assessment tools and processes.

In this role, you will also continually monitor success and identify emerging needs through stakeholder feedback and objective data to inform the development and refinement of the assessment offering. You will focus on our firm service professional global service locations including our high volume roles. Your key responsibilities will vary depending on the initiatives that the team is working on. It will likely involve an even split between day-to-day operational support and project based work including recruiter support and guidance with use of assessment materials, assessor training, refinement of existing assessment materials, development and implementation of new assessments or processes in collaboration with an assessment expert.

You will support the flawless execution of high volume assessment processes and be a subject matter expert on our online assessment platforms (MapTQ & Sova). You will also support recruiters in case of questions as well as gather feedback on assessor and candidate experience of the high volume processes. You will work with the stakeholders on continual refinement of assessment materials in collaboration with an assessment expert.

You will manage recruiter access to assessment materials and tools (Box, interview toolkit, online assessment platforms, etc.). You will support and eventually lead the training of new assessors to ensure assessor competence with using assessment materials. You will develop into the assessment center of excellence's (CoE) key point of contact for assessment requests and queries from selected business areas. You will also manage key assessment projects such as working with the Avature team to optimize assessment user experience.

You will support the firm assessment team colleagues on other projects that the team is working on including projects that span MGS (McKinsey Global Services) and firm function assessment or other areas of assessment at McKinsey.

* Degree in psychology/organizational psychology is preferred
* Prior experience/exposure to assessment or recruiting
* Experience working with and influencing a broad range of stakeholders including external vendors
* Strong interest in working with systems; knowledge of online assessment platforms and enabling efficiency through technology is a plus
* Full set of consulting skills including analyzing, preparing and delivering presentations, etc.
* Strong project management skills
* Takes pride in delivering outstanding client experience

* Ability to work independently and thrives in an ambiguous environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
