**Job Description:**

Aerotek is hiring immediately for Mechanical Assemblers in the Jacksonville, FL Area. We are looking for a reliable individual to work in a fast-paced Manufacturing Environment. This is a contract-to-hire position with opportunity for advancement. Benefits and 401k available while on contract. Reviewing applications to interview and start immediately.

**Overview:**

+ Job title: Assembler

+ Location: Northside of Jacksonville

+ Shift: 5:00am-2:30pm (M-F) - Saturdays are also required when needed

+ Pay: $16/hr

+ Contract to hire opportunity (pay raise when converted to permanent employee)

**Responsibilities:**

+ Manufacturing environment (non-climate controlled)

+ Mechanical assembly of industrial power systems

+ Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

+ Use of hand and power tools for assembly

**Skills and Qualifications:**

+ Manufacturing experience required

+ Experience working in non-climate controlled environments required

+ Experience reading blueprints and measurements is preferred

+ Ability to use hand and power tools preferred
