Apex Systems, the nation's 2nd largest Information Technology staffing firm, has an opportunity for a Business Analyst to work for a large transportation company in Jacksonville. This is a long term contract position with an opportunity to go full time for the right candidate. The client offers a variety of perks, including a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with the newest technologies. This Business Analyst will be joining an existing team but will need to be able to work on his/her own and take ownership of the project.

*This position will be hybrid remote & onsite (2-3 days per week)*

Applicants must have 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in an Agile environment. Candidates must have experience with requirements documentation, communicating with business stakeholders and technical teams, and supporting an Agile project. Responsibilities Overview - Business Analyst:

Responsible for analysis and evaluation of user business problems and development of system recommendations to meet requirements. Translates high-level business requirements into functional specifications for business application development. Interviews end users to obtain and document the detailed business requirements for projects. Combines understanding of IT and business processes to recommend solutions. Assignments typically include problem definition, evaluation of requirements, and implementation of systems to meet business and user requirements. Experience developing use cases, use case model, supplementary requirements, and business rules is essential.

Required Skills:

Mid-senior level business analyst experience (3-5 years of BA experience)

Experience working on a mature level agile team (1+ year)

Excellent communication and documentation

Software development project experience - no specific technologies required but need to be able to talk to developers and the business

Preferred Skills:

Data analysis (SQL)

CSPO or CSM certifications

Hybrid background - BA, PO, Scrum Master
