Job Profile and Objectives

The Human Resources Business Partner, Field Operations is responsible for leading the HR initiatives across the corporate retail operations in partnership with the Operations Leadership. This position serves as an expert HR advisor within the field operations, and consults, coaches and influences regional and store leaders on all people related matters that impact the entire employee lifecycle. This includes hiring & onboarding, employee relations, talent management, policy implementation, and employment compliance.

Responsibilities:
Duties & Responsibilities:

Work closely with the VP, Human Resources and other HR leaders to influence and define the company's people strategy and its impact on field operations.

Understand the current and future business needs and influence operational decisions regarding hiring, development, compensation, management and exit of retail and clinical associates.

Be a trusted advisor to business leaders and provide guidance on the impact of business decisions, change and operational initiatives.

Be an employee advocate by exemplifying company culture and values, and creating an engaging, inclusive, motivating and productive work environment.

Collaborate with Senior Operations Leadership to understand the company's goals and strategy related to labor model and operations and customer experience goals.

Help Regional Managers establish and maintain a proactive talent plan and pipeline that anticipates future needs in alignment with the labor model.

Coach Operations Leaders in areas of engagement and retention, talent and performance management and employee relations, including difficult conversations and discipline when needed.

Lead the HR Field Operations Team to ensure all critical core business and HR strategies and processes are consistently executed, and to drive a positive employee experience.

Oversee and guide the work of the HR Field Operations Team. Set priorities and provide ongoing coaching and support. Responsible for their performance and development.

Oversee and handle Employee Relations cases. Conduct thorough investigations and responsible for reporting, counseling, documenting, resolving and tracking all actions. Identify patterns and issues and proactively work on root cause resolution.

Collaborate with corporate HR to ensure compliance processes are followed.

Own the development and implementation of all policies, processes and guidelines that impact field associates.

Lead data analytics and action planning of field turnover, retention and engagement.

Lead the performance management annual cycle and process for field associates.

Partner with the Manager of Recruitment to proactively work on workforce planning, and retail and clinical staffing needs.

Partner with the Manager of Recruitment and Training and Development Manager to define current and future talent needs, succession planning and internal development opportunities.

Work closely with the Payroll team on compensation and benefits matters that are related to field associates. Oversee variable compensation calculation and payout.

Check the pulse of the organization by conducting periodic conversations and check-ins with field associates and leadership. Recommend actions and practices that promote a high level of and motivation.

Utilize analytical thinking to diagnose opportunities and proactively develop action plans.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR or related field.

7+ years of experience as HR generalist or HR Business Partner with multi-unit, multi-state responsibility.

3+ years of experience leading teams.

Experience supporting HR functions (employee relations, talent acquisition, management, compensation, development, compliance, non-exempt employees).

Previous retail experience is highly preferred.

PHR or SHRM-CP is preferred.
