Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Model Biblical Priorities: Responsible for upholding Biblical priorities and core values of Community of Hope. The Videographer should represent a growing personal relationship with Christ. The Videographer models a strong relationship with his or her spouse (if married) and children (if applicable). The Videographer strives to fulfill his or her purpose in life and ministry while demonstrating integrity in words, relationships, and actions. These objectives are accomplished by:

* Agreeing with and by Gods grace living into the Ministry Leader Ethos Statement (communityofhope.church/partnership-hub)
* Committing to a daily quiet-time with God.
* Participating in a Community of Hope small group on a regular basis.
* Setting appropriate boundaries to protect character and integrity.
* Developing personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the church.

* Provide effective and engaging photo, video, and written content to the Director or Manager for Facebook, Instagram, and our public and private websites in a timely fashion.
* Flexibility to shoot event photography/videography as needed.

EDUCATION

Required: High School Diploma and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

EXPERIENCE

Required: Must present portfolio of previous or current video productions

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

* Demonstrate creative and storytelling skills.
* Photography and videography experience.
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud products including Photoshop and Premiere Pro (or similar video editing program).
* Ability to follow and understand industry trends and drive creative digital media marketing initiatives.
* Ability to work independently or with a group.
* Impeccable communications skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work with members, co-workers, and others in a courteous, professional manner.
* The ability to provide vision, think critically, solve problems, and build trust in our brand.
* Solid media relations experience.
* Ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work on deadline.
* Ability to follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision.
* Attention to detail and ability to edit and proofread.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Mature, professional attitude and appearance.
* Computer proficiency in Windows environment.
* Openness to continuing learning and upgrading of skills.
