Impact Recruitment is currently searching for a highly motivated Traffic Engineer to join our client' s team in Maitland, FL.

What you' ll be doing:

• 
  The production of traffic design components (Signalization, Signing and Pavement Marking and Lighting).
  
• 
  Assisting in the preparation of technical reports for various traffic and safety related studies.
  
• 
  Preparing quantities of traffic elements supporting highway design projects
  
• 
  Supporting the Roadway, PD&E, and Planning groups with traffic analysis tasks.
  
• 
  Working collaboratively with other design disciplines to meet project objectives and schedule.
  

What you need to have:

• 
  BS in Civil Engineering
  
• 
  2-4 years of traffic engineering experience
  
• 
  EIT is required
  
• 
  Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD (OpenRoads preferred)
  
• 
  Familiarity with FDOT and/or general DOT traffic design standards, MUTCD and AASHTO
  
• 
  Proficiency in traffic analyses software such as VISSIM, Synchro/Simtraffic, Sidra Intersection, HCS
  
• 
  Self-starter and capable of completing tasks with minimal oversight
  
• 
  Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
