The Role:

Based in Melbourne, this role will be responsible for leading a team on Future Clothing Systems (CLOSPO) project. You will be also be involve in Plan, budget, organise and control projects, including leading recruiting for projects opportunity.

Tasks may include:

• Lead a Project Team under the general guidance of the Future Clothing Systems (CLOSPO)
• Responsible for all phases of planning and execution on a project
• Plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls small engineering projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company.
• Responsibility for day to day contact and communication with the client and focuses on providing client satisfaction. Possesses knowledge of the respective industry.
• May also serve as a proposal manager for small projects.
• Job role has budgetary accountability

To secure this position, ideally you will possess:

• Proven working experience in project management
• Experience in initiation, operation and governance of an engineering focused CLOSPO preferred
• Defence industry experience highly regarded
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• Ability to gain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance is required
