Job description

Description Do you have experience working as a Logistics Clerk coordinating shipments? There is a great Logistics Clerk opportunity through Robert Half for North Bay Village, Florida candidates. Your tasks in this position can include coordinating with vendors, arranging shipments, and processing customer orders. In this role, you will also perform a heavy amount of data entry and customer service functions. If you're looking for a short-term contract / temporary opportunity with a company in the Communications field, this role might be for you.

What you get to do every day

- Perform various administrative duties

- Notify and plan with inventory and sales management; warehouse; logistics for service changes

- Follow-up with carriers, as necessary

- Authenticate freight bills and process bills of lading

- Monitor, track and support dispatch & progress of orders on time and to meet delivery requirements

- Comply with guidelines for approving carriers Requirements - Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers

- You should consider this job if you have experience in purchasing, inventory control, transportation and warehousing functions

- Comprehensive knowledge of data entry

- Knowledge of Shipping

- Capacity to operate basic office equipment, complete general office work and route incoming materials

- Accurate, swift, data entry abilities

- 2+ years' experience with shipping/logistics
