Overview:

The Business Analyst, Lead is the IT position with the knowledge and expertise of business unit processes. This person works with the business unit and IT personnel in the development and support of the company's business processes and strategies. This individual will be accountable for providing leadership and independent initiatives in facilitating information gathering, critical analysis, structured documentation, and presentation of

findings/recommendations to all levels of management.

The Business Analyst IV will conduct analyses of functional business process and functional requirements and be instrumental in the development of business cases in support of process changes and/or IT projects. The Business Analyst IV will collaborate and communicate with all levels of management within the context of their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures, defining detailed requirements, analyzing the business needs, and validating solutions appropriate business counterparts
  • Maintains focus on process analysis with an understanding of technical problems and solutions and the relationship to the business environment
  • Prioritize work to IT develop teams
  • Work with Architects to transform requirements into solutions
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of how data is utilized in business systems
  • Business process mapping and analysis
  • Lead functional and technical gap analysis
  • Lead solution demonstrations and workshops
  • Develop acceptance criteria
  • Manage projects as required

Desired Experience:

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience
  • End to end business process design and analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Detailed knowledge of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report or associated processes
  • Experience in critical analysis of data related to process or operational issues
  • Knowledge of financial processes related to Order to Cash
  • Functional knowledge and experience of system design and agile processes
  • Experience in a functional lead role in projects or task teams
  • Experience with defining complex business requirements
  • Self-motivated requiring little supervision
