Job description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
Perform full spectrum of technical activities related to their field of expertise:
• Prepare, collect and process samples originating from bioequivalence and/or Phase 1 studies
• Administer study medication, as necessary
• Insert catheters and perform venipuncture as necessary (phlebotomist).
• Prepare required buffer solutions for certain studies.
• Provide support with maintenance and calibration of laboratory materials.
• Assist in purchasing supplies needed for the study.
• Maintain laboratory premises.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• College diploma in biomedical analysis techniques, in medical laboratory, chemistry-biology or analytical chemistry and animal health
• Relative alternate certification may be considered acceptable
• Less than one year of work experience.
• Must demonstrate good computer skills especially in the utilization of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence, convince, and persuade
