RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Casino Developer in Miami, FL.

Key Tasks:
* Business Intelligence Casino Developer will be responsible for the construction of basic to advanced SQL (Oracle/SQL Server/Snowflake/SAP HANA), and basic PLSQL that provide the necessary data to support the Casino business
* Design and develop highly visual, interactive, and layered Business Intelligence solutions using Tableau, Business Objects (Information Design Tool (IDT), Web Intelligence)
* Interface with Enterprise Data Warehouse to provide data requirements to support ongoing Casino initiatives and prioritize the Jira backlog according to the Casino strategic vision
* As a Business Intelligence Casino Developer, you will ensure premium data quality standards by monitoring data flows between source systems, enterprise-wide databases, data lakes, and reports/dashboards
* Troubleshoot reporting errors or data discrepancies in either Casino Management Systems, Reporting Layers (Business Objects/Tableau), Data Model Layers (Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA, Snowflake), Data Integration processes (SSIS, Data Services), or other internal client Source System errors
* Develop relevant exception reporting and address existing data flow defects to ensure that mistakes, inaccuracies, and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and ultimately resolved
* Business Intelligence Casino Developers act as a liaison between Casino Vendor and Enterprise Data Warehouse to understand processes and ensure all critical data elements required by the Casino Department are available
* Define and document processes, best practices, and strategies for existing and future Casino solutions, optimizing business efficiencies as it relates to process improvement
* Identify insights from data and proactively generate recommendations for Casino Users increasing P&L
* Responsible for the education of users on available BI solutions
* Perform other job-related functions as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineer Science, Physics, Statistics, Industry Engineering, Business Administration, or related field of study; Or any equivalent combination of experience and training (degree required or equivalent experience); Functional area of expertise for required degree (i.e., Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, Hotel Management, etc.); MBA or MIS preferred
* 3-5 years of relational database experience in data warehousing required including backend integration using SSIS, Data Services, or Fivetran, batch-based systems and multidimensional modeling
* Nature of experience required (i.e., technical skills, supervisory/management experience, interpersonal skills, communication skills)
* Experience with relational database technologies, T-SQL, PL/SQL and thorough experience with SAP HANA or Oracle RDBMS platform
* Other specialized skills
* Strong analytical abilities, a thorough understanding of building data models in large quantities (terabytes)
* Knowledge of business intelligence systems, casino systems, revenue management practices and cruise industry operations
* Excellent analytical skills and organizational skills to gather and document business requirements
* Verbal and written communication skills to thoroughly prepare specifications make recommendations and effectively work with internal and external members
* Ability to prioritize and manage workload
* Experience in quality assurance testing, preferably in the area of large data set integrity assessment preferred
