Your new job
- Acting as a Finance Business Partner and managing the day-to-day finance topics for the US and MX subsidiary of a global ICT company
- Being the interface to internal stakeholders (e.g. local management or sales/service organization) and externals such as accounting service providers, tax advisors, or banks
- Enhancing management reporting standards and providing forecasting, planning, and analysis information of the Mexico and US subsidiaries by working closely with ngena Group Finance
- Set up and maintain professional finance standards (supported by ngena Group Finance and external bookkeeper) for local business units in US and Latin America region, including intercompany charging and external billing
- Supporting in A/P processes: Verifying accounts payables, manage approval workflows, and ensure proper transfer to external bookkeeping service provider, approve payroll reports for US and Mexico entity.
- Reviewing contract language for local service contracts (from a financial and tax perspective), assess business risks during contract negotiation phase, and assist in negotiating fair contracts
- Ensuring internal and external cross-functional compliance covering financial accounting and reporting, internal controls, and procurement
- Managing and coordinating other business-related topics: Company insurance portfolio of local subsidiaries, contract management, or office operations
- Leading and assisting in company projects on a local or global basis
- Assisting in tax audits, month end closing, and year end activities - as required
Required profile:
Your assets
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required (or equivalent). MBA and/or CPA/CFA are a plus, but not required
- Experience in supporting as (Finance) business partner in a US and/or Latin American subsidiary of an international company
- 7+ years of related experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills
- Acute attention to detail, ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet required deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds and cultures
- Willingness to learn, contribute, and grow and to understand the "why" behind the numbers
- Proficient English is a must, Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of tax specifics in US and LATAM region is a plus
- Experience in setting up organizational structures is an additional plus
- Profound knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, knowledge of BI tools is an advantage
