The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering the full recruiting life-cycle including but not limited to: candidate sourcing, screening and preparing candidates for interviews with hiring managers. The incumbent in this role takes pride in being the face of the company during the recruiting process and deeply feels that positive candidate experiences from the initial application to the final on-boarding process is key. He/She maintains awareness of competitor practices, industry trends and recruitment standards. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist also works collaboratively with and consults hiring managers to recommend strategies for identifying and recruiting potential candidates. The incumbent helps identify key performance factors, develop sourcing pools and establish interviewing criteria. He/She is a key contributor to helping shape and influence good hiring decisions with internal customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures day-to-day operational effectiveness and quality talent acquisition outcomes within the Corporate office, establishing a culture of shared success.
- Partners with TA team, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, and other key stakeholders to implement talent acquisition strategies.
- Utilizes all available metrics to plan and adapt to changes in business needs. Influences client groups by providing insightful market data that supports business growth and decision making.
- Creates applicant pools and talent pipelines by posting job ads through job boards, social media, professional associations and employee referral programs.
- Sets high recruitment standards, maintaining operational excellence and compliance. Analyzes and presents recruitment metrics as required. Delivers comprehensive support to business hiring groups to fulfill recruiting strategy in a wing-to-wing recruitment process, effectively prioritizing workload.
- Evaluates applications, reviews resumes, conducts phone as well as live interviews to establish a narrow candidate pool.
- Handles specialized recruitment programs to proactively address ongoing needs and spikes in hiring volume to drive slate/pipeline development.
- Engages with passive market and craft sourcing strategy & pipelines using various methods. Actively researches new sourcing ideas and methods to build creative sourcing strategies.
- Partner across businesses and TA teams, establishes ongoing relationships with hiring managers in order to understand their business and recruitment needs and fill open positions in a timely manner.
- Partners with HR and internal clients to develop long term talent pipelining plans and build supporting talent communities.
- Coaches managers/interview teams to incorporate capability/competency-based assessments during their interview and acts as a mentor to TA Specialist.
- Leads initiatives around diversity and inclusion to attract a diverse and inclusive workforce and culture of ChenMed.
- Ensures delivery against key TA metrics.
- Grows brand awareness in the market to support, identify, plan and lead networking events and meet ups, effectively leveraging social media tools in alignment with ChenMed's Brand Strategy.
- Delivers outstanding customer and candidate experiences as an owner of the onsite interview to hiring process.
- Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Highly-developed business acumen and acuity
- Prior experience in a complex Talent Acquisition organization, with specific experience in the Healthcare industry strongly preferred
- Possess excellent detail orientation and time management skills
- Expert level offer negotiation skills
- Subject Matter Expertise in recruiting domain across corporate functions
- Skilled in leveraging recruitment tools and technologies (ATS, CRM etc.) through end-to-end recruiting life-cycle
- Proven, strategic problem-solving skills inclusive of excellent candidate experience
- Metrics driven thinking that provides direct business impact
- Expertise in socializing and delivering TA strategies and models
- Proven ability to analyze business challenges and provide recruiting solutions
- Comfort and ability to sharing knowledge and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill
- Superior ability to build partnerships, using the trust created to provide effective relationships
- Continue to develop domain knowledge, functional expertise and market intelligence.
- Ability to create partnerships with candidates, using the trust built to provide coaching and mentoring throughout the process.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail and presentation software
- Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationwide up to 10% of the time
- Spoken and written fluency in English
- This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
- BA/BS degree in Human Resources or a closely related discipline OR additional experience above the minimum will be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis
- A minimum of 10 years recruiting experience with at least 7 years performing full-cycle recruiting required
- PHR, SPHR or similar certification preferred
